3 weeks later I get a letter from the shop and 5 phone calls with 3 voicemails claiming that I didn't pay my bill and threatening to take me to court. My attempts to explain their screw up was met with contempt and animosity by none other than the owner.
In an industry that can often be pretty underhanded and filled with people that don't care about you, Michael's proves that there truly are great mechanics out there who put the customer first, are hard working & honest, and truly want to do the highest quality work possible. The great ones are really hard to find, and I'm THRILLED to have discovered Michael's!!! Many thanks to Dix Honda in State College, PA for the recommendation!
If I could give these guys more than 5 stars I absolutely would. In every single way possible Michael's Auto Body Repair excelled in providing the best customer service, highest quality, fairest pricing and speedy service that I have ever seen.
I have a 2009 Honda CRV that my grandfather backed into, and a 2004 Honda Civic that hydroplaned into a signpost, and after Michael's Auto Body Repair replaced both fenders with original Honda parts, I can't even tell that there was ever an incident.

I thought that I had found the type of automotive repair service that is hard to find: intelligent, skilled and professional. I was totally and completely wrong.
Don't go here. They don't have their act together and they will be belligerent and hostile in a heartbeat if they make a mistake. Be forewarned!
My wife hit a deer with her Trailblazer and did some damage to the front. Michael and his team went the extra mile and did a fabulous job repairing her vehicle. They even detailed the car inside and out at no extra expense. A great experience all around and i will be doing business with them in the future!
After my vehicle was done being repaired, a friend and myself went to pick it up. I was told repeatedly that all payments were current, there was nothing owed for the repair and requested they verify that with the shop owner. After speaking with the staff for several minutes and asking a couple more times if I was ok to leave, they said yes and I left.
